For AW10, our favourite British design duo,Thea and Justin Bregazzi,  swathed their constructed cocktail dresses in beautiful florals – inspired by Peter Saville’s cover for New Order’s Power, Corruption & Lies album - as well as sheer inserts that added a sexy netted vibe to their always-exciting line-up of party frocks.

Besides their two-piece cocktail numbers which had an irresistible peek-a-boo-feel (a curved seam separated the bustier from the skirt, with a tiny bit of skin peeking beneath), Preen brought back their cocoon coats. And oh my, did they have a fabulous twist! Embossed with crocodile and lizard-like scales, the cool girls in the audience – including Fabiola Beracasa, Leigh Lezark, Julia Frakes and Leigh Lezark – were in major swoon mode.

And adding a whole new dimension to their collection, their collaboration with Savile Row's Gieves & Hawkes added tailoring to their repetoire. Ovesrized blazers, sexy slouch pants, crombie coats and crisp white shirts mean that we’ll be turning to Preen for looks straight out of our boyfreind’s wardrobes, as well as our party dresses for AW10.

If there’s one thing you need from this collection, it’s their long-sleeved, cropped black polo! We’ll be wearing ours with everything, absolutely everything next fall.
