Ever since February 5th 2006, Kate Bingaman-Burt has been drawing one thing every day that she’s bought. That’s well over three-years-worth of sketches of purchases that we’ll all be familiar with, like cleaning products, post-it notes, hot dogs…

Her hundreds of works have now been grouped together into a book called Obsessive Consumption which seeks to put a personal face on objects that are mass-produced and explore the relationship we have with shopping, shared experiences, repetition and the things that we buy. We especially love her running commentary throughout the book!
