Before Richard Nicoll's show, we headed backstage to take a look at what was going on as hair and make-up were getting underway.

When we came across the beautiful Jourdan Dunn, we couldn't help but stop her for a chat. She looked amazing in the Topshop show yesterday and we were glad to hear that she loved the look we put her in as much as we did! When we asked her what she was special about London Fashion Week, she told us that she'd never miss the London shows! "For me, it's home! I love coming home and doing the shows. I also love the British sense of style, it's individual and amazing," she told us with a smile. We also found out that she loved Richard Nicoll's collection for SS11 and was really excited to walk in Burberry's show later in the week. It'll be her first time modelling for them and she really wants to get her hands on one of their winter coats – don't we all, don't we all!

Basic was the other lovely model we stopped to chat to backstage. She'd only just arrived in London and Richard Nicoll was the first show she was walking in so she was really rather excited. In fact, it's the first time she will have walked the catwalk at Fashion Week here in London at all. She walked in a few of the couture shows last season – Valentino being a favourite – and is really glad to be in London for the first time! "I've just got here from New York," she told us. "It's a bit colder. New York was 30 degrees so  I'm having to adjust my wardrobe,' she smiled. Just 16 and with a face like that, we think she's set to go far!

And the best model we stopped to snap? Jeanette of course who was rumoured to be starting the show as an incarnation of Bowie! You'll soon see why…
