Last week, we headed to the studio space above Rupert Sanderson's gorgeous store on Bruton Place for the opening of Studio Voltaire's temporary shop, House of Voltaire.

Open until 4th December and selling one-of-a-kind art works, fashion and novelties by established and emerging artists, this is the place to get your hands on treats and gifts you won't find anywhere else!

With specially commissioned works – from wall prints to dog bowls, scarves to Christmas cards – ranging from £10 to £20, 000, it's the perfect place to buy, browse and be inspired! Our favourites had to be the artist Linder Sterling's bright red lip print and the amazing, totally extravagant dog bowls by Donald Urquhart.

And we love that throughout the month, they'll be familiar faces from the arts and fashion worlds fronting and staffing the shop. Just imagine popping in for a browse to find Rupert Sanderson behind the counter – you’d certainly stop for a chat.

A great opportunity to raise money for the artistic community and public programmes that Studio Voltaire support, get down to this artistic endeavor to show your support and bag yourself something really great.

House of Voltaire will be open daily from 11 November – 4 December 2010, Monday – Saturday 11am – 7pm, Sun 12 – 6pm at 19 Bruton Place, London W1J 6LZ.
