A few of us from Personal Shopping put on our glad rags and headed to the British Fashion Awards at The Savoy. As one of the most important events in the British Fashion Calendar, we we're so excited, we could barely sit still in the cab on the way there. What could be better than a night of designer spotting, outfit envy, awards, and champagne?

Here we are at the reception before the awards in our favourite ensembles - all from Topshop of course! We went for sequins, lace and metallic lurex - looks like we're all feeling sparkles and texture for evening right now.

Here's Honey looking fabulous in one of our amazing laddered dresses with her client Emma Roberts, and Amy smiling away with Harold Tilman who's Head of the British Fashion Council.

Naomi Campbell looked unbelievable as she accepted her prestigious recognition award in a skin-tight diamante encrusted gown by the late Alexander McQueen who was honoured with a posthumous award for his outstanding achievements in fashion.

We loved it when Naomi thanked all of the amazing British designers who she's worked with over the years in her acceptance speech and couldn't quite believe that she’s been working in the industry for a quarter of a century!

It was great to see the gorgeous Claudia Schiffer present Nicholas Kirkwood with the accessory designer of the year award – he's one of our personal favourites!

The stunning Lara Stone – she's even more ridiculously beautiful in the flesh – channelled minimalist chic in a Calvin Klein dress and to no one's surprise, won the award for best model of the year.

Other highlights were seeing the ever so chic Pheobe Philo of Celine be awarded designer of the year by no other than the uber glamorous Bianca Jagger. Her all-in-one was one of her own designs of course and had everyone in the room wishing it was theirs.

We we're also thrilled for NEWGEN designers Benjamin and Edward (they make up Meadham Kirchhoff) who won the emerging talent award. After their unbelievable SS11 show in our space last season, we had a feeling it was on the cards.
