Be prepared to get very excited! If you've ever wanted to lay your hands on a truly exclusive piece by one of London's hottest new design talents then this is your chance. A very limited number of designs - 50 to be exact - by up-and-coming design stars Lily Heine and Matthew Harding are about to land on Topshop.com, joined by Simone Rocha's headwear in our Oxford Circus store.

Fresh off the renowned Fashion MA at Central Saint Martins, these pieces were hand-picked off the catwalk by our buyers at their graduate show during London Fashion Week back in September. Receiving world-wide acclaim from the editors, buyers and journalists sat front row, these are the new names on the London style scene tipped for greatness. Not available to buy anywhere else, a piece by one of these rising talents is the ultimate investment piece for AW10.

German-born, London-based Lilly Heine was labelled the one to watch at Central Saint Martins’ AW10 graduate show after winning the Harrods Award. Lauded for her unusual shapes and surface details which were inspired by Picasso‘s geometric paintings of curvaceous women, Lilly’s work has a contradictory linear yet flowing feel. Shapes may be austere and simple; the palette beautifully muted; but Lilly’s layering of laser-cut shapes creates a beautiful sense of volume and movement as the wearer moves.

Inspired by strong women - Wonder Woman in particular - Matthew Harding won the style sets' attention for his innovative approach to giving sheer mesh jersey and sheep’s wool a sculptural feel. Wanting to create a "confident and tough, but somehow fragile and still very sexy" look, Matthew used flocked copper corrugated metal to create a tough, yet feminine look. You may not be able to see it but his black crepe mid-calf length dress and long sleeved top feature corrugated metal frames to create structure.

With influences from Frances Bacon to Mark Borthwick, Simone Rocha’s clothes are beautiful in a modern, innovative way. Based around the ideas of strength and romance, her graduate collection featured minimalistic tailoring in black and white which was lightened by the clever use of sheer panels. Simone designed headwear as an antidote to this aesthetic, bringing softness and romanticism. Citing her inspiration as the women from the Aran Island’s who wear petticoats over their heads when in mourning, this is headwear for making a fashion statement in. Only avaliable in our Oxford Circus store, be sure to get down there quick!
