Thom Yorke picked the music for Rag & Bone's latest catwalk show, but the Radiohead front man's choices proved to be more than just a playlist. For a glorious ten minutes, techno and dubstep blasted through the venue (an abandoned airline hangar) and literally shook the benches with every thump. Anna Wintour and Grace Coddington seemed unphased by the amusement-park effect, but the third and fourth rows (full of younger fashion editors still bleary from The Kills' concert at The Standard Hotel the night before) bounced along and flashed their iPhones in the air as if they were glow sticks at a rave.


As for the clothes, there were the wool peacoats, capes, and bombers that Rag & Bone does so well – this time in gray stripes – along with bronze heeled boots and a shiny, slightly stretchy brown silk suit that was layered under a stiffly collared striped wool and leather trench. It was a very sophisticated riff on pajama dressing, equestrian dressing, schoolboy dressing, or anything else involving a shrunken blazer and a very cool girl…
