Since the madness that is Fashion Week came to an end, we’ve been trying our hardest to get everything ticked off our to-do list! There are so many amazing exhibitions on in London right now (don’t miss to David Hockney at The Royal Academy or Yayoi Kusama at The Tate) and this weekend we’re heading to The Wapping Project to see Paolo Roversi’s solo exhibition. Set to finish on 31st March, if this isn’t on your radar and you love photography, then it should be!

One of the most revered fashion photographers of our time, Roversi has shot campaigns for fashion heavyweights from Christian Dior to Valentino and we’ve always been huge fans of his work. Roversi’s photographs – our favourites tend to be in black and white – are extremely evocative and have a classic, painterly feel to them that has somewhat become his trademark. Part of this is because he often shoots in his stripped down Paris-based studio, really focusing on the subject of his shot and not the set.

We know our afternoon out is going to be a real sartorial treat but what we’re particularly excited about seeing are his shots of his muse Guinevere Van Seenus who he has been photographing for the last fifteen years. You can bet that he’s mastered the art of taking her perfect shot!

Let us know if you’ve been and which exhibitions we should add to our must-see list!
