Wow, what a whirlwind week! We always suspected that the Topshop Topman opening in Las Vegas would be crazy, and it lived up to all our glittering, tassel-twirling, wildest expectations!

We started off on Wednesday by piling into our beloved Topshop Truck and cruising around the city handing out specially designed tote bags, copies of our zine, gift cards and make-up treats to give the Vegas public a little taster of things to come.

There was a real buzz about the city, but excitement reached its peak on Thursday when the Topshop Bus rolled into town. Splashed with Topshop imagery, the bus provided the perfect backdrop for Sir Philip Green, Lydia Hearst and Kristen Bell – as well as twenty gorgeous models all in the new season collection – when it came to the moment to cut the ribbon on the new store. It seemed like half of Las Vegas was there to cheer us on as the ribbon was cut, and once the store was officially open, everyone rushed to join the queue to get in-store and make the most of the special treats we had laid on. From complimentary hair and beauty appointments to lucky gift cards worth from $20 to $1,000, there was lots of fashionable fun to be had.

Everyone went crazy for the shoe lounge and shopers were thrilled to be able to scoop a gorgeous free glitter purse if they spent $100 or more instore…

Later on we had diner in the lovely Lakeside restaurant, before hitting Tryst nightclub for party time! We were so excited to see the go-go dancers dressed in custom Topshop pieces – think studs, sparkles and tassles a go-go! Our fashion show was met with rapturous applause, especially when the whole room burst into clouds of gold confetti at the end, and the models handed out special Topshop glowsticks for the revelers to party the night away with. By the time the clock struck 4am, our feet were aching from dancing so hard (don’t know how those go-go girls do it!) but the party was still going strong so we slipped away because we had more fun in store the next day.

The Topshop double decker bus proved to be such a hit that on Friday we started to use it as a fun new mode of transport for Topshop fans throughout the city to hitch a ride to their favourite store! The atmosphere on the bus was incredible, with everyone crowding on to the top deck to take in the sunshine and scenery on the way to the new store. It was a great way to see Vegas and an even better way to arrive at Topshop!

Thanks to everyone who made it such a brilliant opening – we can’t wait to go back!
