…dancing in fields, no doubt getting very muddy and watching some of our favourite bands play live, as well as discovering so much good new music. With Lovebox happening this weekend in London, we're now in full on festival mode!

We'll be throwing some shapes to Hot Chip and Crystal Castles, as well as hoping that Lana Del Rey performs as promised this weekend (we'd like to see/hear what she is really like as an artiste!) Considering Lovebox takes place in London's Victoria Park, there's no guaranteeing what the weather will be doing, so we're planning outfits that involve many, many layers. Our festival essential denim shorts might need to be coupled with lightweight jumpers, basic tees and definitely some sort of mac!

Later on in the summer we'll be roadtripping to St Germans in Cornwall for the beautiful Port Eliot festival (19-22 July) – which is a far cry from the usual music madness! Port Eliot is an extremely creative event set in a beautiful historic estate. There's a big mixture of musical performers, including acts like Toy and Stornaway, plus amazing food and craft demonstrations, spoken word and bizarre activities like the Rubbish Olympics! The inspiring fashion journalist Sarah Mower will also be curating a unique 'fashion line-up', which is where we'll probably end up spending most of our time.

At the opposite end of the festival spectrum, we'll be braving the crowds at Reading Festival (24-26th August) to watch The Black Keys, Foo Fighters, The Cure and Florence & The Machine on the main stage. The amazing bands that this huge festival brings in means that it's always a weekend of exciting music, even if the English weather does sometimes mean that wellies are regulation festival wear, regardless of the fact that it's in August.

Finally we'll be finishing off the summer at the always magical Bestival (6-9th September). Definitely not your average party, Bestival takes place in a lush valley in the Isle of Wight and is always a mind-blowing experience! We'll be dancing in the Stardust Field, getting lost in the Ambient Forest and relaxing on the Grassy Hill – there's too much going on to list it all here, but the beauty of Bestival is that whatever we're doing, we get the chance to dress up. This year's fancy dress theme is Wildlife, which gives us plenty of scope for playing with animal prints, feathers and other truly wild accessories.

Bring on the summer of fun! Which festivals are you most excited for?
