Louise Gray’s Madonna obsession has well and truly rubbed off on us here at Topshop HQ; so much so we’re typing away at our desks in fishnet gloves, embracing the big-hair look and have had the words to ‘Holiday’ stuck in our heads for the past week (though that could also be due to our bank holiday excitement).

That said, when we heard that party extraordinaire, Guilty Pleasures was hosting an event in honour of the original Material Girl, we just knew we had to share the excitement. Taking place tomorrow night, The Troxy in London’s East End will be transformed into a one-off silver screen wonderland, with Madonna’s ‘Desperately Seeking Susan’ as the main event.

The doors open at 8pm, starting pre-film with live cabaret performances, a magic show, music from the amazing 80s throwback Joywride and go-go dancers galore to make sure you well and truly get into the groove. And as if that wasn’t enough, guests can enjoy the show while indulging in a traditional New York feast courtesy of the Guilty Pleasures Diner; think mac n cheese, larger than life cupcakes and all washed down with a delicious cocktail or two – we’re getting hungry just thinking about it!

And it’s not called a ‘Cinema Party’ for nothing – once the curtain goes down on Madonna’s silver screen appearance, the Troxy will be transformed into a typical 1980s super disco so we can all raise the roof until 2am.

What are you waiting for? Get your tickets now and we’ll see you there! (Don’t forget your fancy dress!)
