What… Sister by Sibling recipients of the NEWGEN award are designers Sid Bryan, Joe Bates and Cozette McCreery.

Where… Portico Show Space, Somerset House

Who… The movers and the shakers. After a scramble to get in and an oversubscribed guest list the Evening Standard’s Gianluco Longo, uber stylist Anna Trevelyan and Vogue editor Emma Elwicks-Bates sat front row while fashion week veteran Tim Blanks and blogger Susie Bubble were left peaking over the cameras from the entrance.

The collection in 5 words… pom-poms, toile, eyelets and white.

The girls on the catwalk… MANDP Models new faces exclusively walked the show.

What we loved… The Neapolitan woolen maxis and all-white crochet vest and skirt combos. Our passion for colour went into overdrive with the mixture of baby pinks, lemon sherbets and pastel limes all beautifully encrusted with Sibling’s standard ’80s-inspired decorations.

Hero piece… A pom-pom Mickey Mouse style bonnet, of course! (And did we mention the a-mazing shoes from Nicholas Kirkwood prodigeé Sophie Webster?)

Hair loving… Clean and sleek, tied back behind a lace bonnet.

Beauty notes… Minimal: dewy skin and matte neutral lips.

Inspired by… Toile de Jouy fabrics and ’80s illustration (see the graphic paint swoosh on the collection’s tees).

End Notes… An overwhelming success for the Sibling crew with most of the audience donned in the brand and surely more orders being taken as the show ended.
