On Sunday 17th February the Topshop Unique AW13 collection will be unveiled as part of London Fashion Week, but that’s not all from yours truly, we’re also supporting an exciting line-up of NEWGEN talent such as Louise Gray, J.W. Anderson, Simone Rocha and the troops from Fashion East.

When it comes to our Showspaces we don’t like to stay in the same place for very long. After stints at the historic Bedford Square and the grand Old Billingsgate Market we knew the next location had to be something very special and the dramatic surroundings of Tate Modern’s The Tanks are absolutely that.

Picasso graces the walls in the galleries above. Kraftwerk will play in the adjacent hall. And now it’s our turn. We’re giddy with excitement to announce the spectacular Tanks, at Tate Modern will be home of the Topshop Showspace for London Fashion Week SS13.

Encompassing a perfect balance between architecture and art, the Tanks, were renovated last year by architects Herzog & De Meuron as a space to stage classic performances as well as showing newly commissioned works by young artists.

Located on the south side of the Tate Modern’s Turbine Hall – the hall that saw Ai Wei Wei’s sunflower seeds and Carsten Höller’s cylinder slides – the concrete chambers and caverns are one of the most atmospheric spaces in London and will no doubt create an exciting surrounding for the shows.

Don’t forget to follow all the London Fashion Week action over on our Twitter page and keep up to date with Facebook and Google+. From watching the shows live to customising the catwalk, we’ve got some pretty exciting things coming your way. And if you’re after a piece from last season’s perfectly monochrome collection, Topshop Unique SS13 is set to land on 7th February.
