Manchester girl Findlay has come a long way since playing small-time gigs in her hometown. Over the last year, the 22-year-old earned her rock ‘n’ roll stripes by joining the likes of Miles Kane and Jake Bugg on tour and performing in front of Mick Jagger at L’Wren Scott’s uber-glamorous Serpentine Ball. All this and she hasn’t even released her album yet – this girl is going places.

So when we heard she’d be playing just down the road from our Oxford flagship at the 100 Club, us Topshop girls had to check her out for ourselves. Rocking an all-in-one tribal print jumpsuit and killer boots, Findlay got us dancing with her brand of swaggering indie pop, blending rocky riffs with in-your-face lyrics.

The video for her new single ‘Greasy Love’ is equally attitude-filled. Watch as Findlay prowls around East London bathed in a sinister red light, complete with creepy on-screen illustrations that only add to the eeriness of her vocals.

You can catch Findlay next on her home turf in Manchester, on 7th December at Sound Control.
