Fashion Week is just around the corner, so as well as gearing up for our Topshop Unique show, we’re getting excited to see new collections from the talented recipients of NEWGEN and Fashion East. Today Topshop HQ is buzzing with the announcement of this season’s Fashion East line-up: Lulu Kennedy’s gang for AW14 will be Ashley Williams, Helen Lawrence and Louise Alsop, making them three of the hottest tickets in town! Read on to get to know them – we’re expecting big things.

CV: Ashley studied a BA in womenswear at The University of Westminster. Joining the Fashion East fold last season, she’s quickly become one of London’s most exciting emerging designers

Last season: Miami-ready swimwear, Spongebob prints and ‘80s-inspired silk shirts

Fans: BFFs Pixie Geldof, Alexa Chung and Harry Styles have all been spotted in her irreverent designs

CV: Helen graduated from the prestigious MA at CSM in 2012 following a textile degree at Chelsea College of Art & Design.

Signatures: New-age knitwear and scribble stitch embroidery

Last season: Mismatched sweaters and knitted knickers in a sugared pastel palette, paired with clear PVC skirts, and denim shorts with thigh-high splits

Fans: MAN designer Craig Green, who she collaborated with on his men’s knitwear collection

CV: Louise perfected her trade at the University of Westminster, graduating to great acclaim in June 2013

Signatures: Oversized silhouettes and tomboy grunge

Last season: A monochrome collection of androgynous shapes with screen prints, raw hems, heavy denim and irreverent nun motifs
