Our Topshop diary is looking fit to burst next month! Not only will we be busy reporting on all the stylish happenings at London Fashion Week, but some of our favourite singers and bands will be keeping us dancing at concerts around the country. Here’s our top five acts not to be missed…
1. BEYONCE – Feb 28th – March 6th, The O2
We’re still in a state of shock after the surprise release of her fourth album, but even better news is that Queen Bey will be playing six nights in London on the second leg of her Mrs. Carter Show tour. Be prepared for performance-of-a-lifetime stuff, complete with mega stage outfits from the likes of Kenzo, Givenchy, Julien Macdonald and David Koma.
2. FOALS – Feb 2nd – Feb 15th, various
These five Oxford lads will be touring their infectious indie rock from Liverpool to London. We recommend booking in for the Alexandra Palace slot, one of London’s most beautiful venues to get your dance on.
3. PATTI SMITH – Feb 5th, Cadogan Hall
Punk high-priestess and all-round awesome lady Patti Smith will be taking to the stage for one night in February. Her Pattiness will be singing, reading poetry and extracts from her autobiography ‘Just Kids’, telling stories and even taking questions from the audience.
4. LONDON GRAMMAR 28th Jan-17th Feb, various
This London three-piece are on the road to super stardom so be sure to catch them now before they’re playing sell-out arenas. Front-woman Hannah Reid’s hauntingly beautiful voice is guaranteed to leave you with goosebumps.
5. WARPAINT 23rd Jan- 18th Feb, various
LA girl gang Warpaint stole our hearts back in 2011 with their eerie and achingly cool rock-pop. Now the wait is finally over for their much-anticipated second album, plus a tour until the end of February.
