You’ve probably noticed that we’ve been swooning over Denmark’s hottest music export aka MØ for quite a while now and seriously… we just can’t get those Sonic Soul-esque earworms out of our heads – so when she asked if we’d dress her for our European tour, we couldn’t resist! So full blown was our obsession we followed her on tour to marvel in her wild onstage antics and check out what she was wearing head-to-toe…
Last time we saw Ms Ørsted we spent a whole day lounging around her room at London’s EDITION hotel to talk style, substance and performance alter egos. After her inspired performance during Berlin Fashion Week at our underground Topshop/Topman party we were besotted with this Danish darling and wanted to give her German fans another opportunity to see her take off on stage. What they had to do? Post a selfie of their favourite gig attire using the hashtag #MØStyleSelfie.
These girls were two of our happy winners pulling off ultimate gig staples like the stripy Breton with a statement necklace and the classic boyfriend checked shirt not to forget MØs beloved sky-high ponytail tied with a scrunchie.
First stop: Uebel & Gefährlich in St.Pauli, Hamburg. There’s no way you can go to Hamburg and miss out on a stroll through the über cool St.Pauli district (and fancy yourself an iconic St.Pauli tee!) MØ couldn’t resist and the Hamburgian crowd went nuts when she stepped on stage with the classic skull printed tee.
Next stop: Club Bahnhof in Ehrenfeld, Cologne. MØ keeps it fresh and easy. A tucked in black vest and a pair of ripped jeans tucked into her socks. Everything has to stay in place when this fierce songstress fires the audience up with her possessed dance skills and head spins that could make Willow Smith jealous!
Last stop: Was supposed to be Munich, but unfortunately the little ball of energy had to pull a sickie for a few days and recover for her Europe tour that’s still on until the end of May. Her next destination: The Great Escape Festival in Brighton. We’ll be there for you and give you a good inside on her latest moves to her latest tune “Slow” from her most coveted album ‘No Mythologies To Follow’.
