London Fashion Week kicked off today, so we headed down to Somerset House to see what street style trends were hitting first. Was it fedoras? Mules? Mini bags? Nope. The hottest accessory to be seen with this season is a dog. Having their street style shots taken, hanging out at Tom’s Deli or having a grooming session in the courtyard’s pop-up doggy parlour, here’s our pick of the most stylish four legged guys so far.
ANDY BABY, FRENCH BULLDOG
Andy Baby (real name Otis – that’s his show name, obviously) was getting more street style paps than the editors – probably thanks to his sharp bow tie. He was on his way to the grooming van to get his coat prepped for the week ahead.
GINO PEPPERONI, CROSS BREED
We met Gino waiting in the queue for LFW’s first show J. JS Lee – looking seriously cosy (and seriously excited) next to his stylist owner’s mega fur coat. “I rescued him from the desert in LA and we’ve been inseparable ever since – he loves coming to the shows with me.”
“We’re accidentally co-ordinating our outfit’s today,” Lopez’s fashion blogger owner told us. “That tends to happen because I end up choosing my favourite colours for both of us – it’s quite cringe really!”
