The Met Gala is fashion’s answer to the Super Bowl and for 2015 we got our game face on. Inspired by the Met’s newest exhibition, China: Through the Looking Glass, the Topshop design team created bespoke gowns for the fashion world’s elite. Get the lowdown on the girls, the looks and their red carpet gowns right here…

Emily Ratajkowski
The Gone Girl actress brought serious smoulder to her bespoke Topshop dress with a simple bun and gold power heels. “The dress fits perfectly with the theme,” said Emily of her hand embroidered gown, “it’s very unique.”

Josephine de La Baume
Somebody say cool couple alert? We first fell for the dreamy Josephine de La Baume after her turn as Agent Provocateur model and Jalouse cover star. For her debut at the Met Gala, Josephine went seriously glam in a hand-embroidered custom Topshop gown with black and white beading and cascading train. Her accessory? Her hubby, DJ and producer Mark Ronson in bespoke Topman.
Bella Hadid
The younger Hadid sister brought a little sassiness to the Met Ball with a black mini dress detailed with bold 3D embroidery in golden yellow and burnt copper. The no selfie rule was unsurprisingly broken after her and gal pal Hailey Baldwin cosied up with Teen Vogue Style Director, Andrew Bevan, and started snapping away on Instagram.
Hailey Baldwin
Do brunettes have more fun? Maybe Hailey will be able to tell us this morning. The all-American Topshop denim star dyed her bleach locks chocolate brown for the first time at the Met Gala.  Hailey got her dreamy pins out in a pastel blue mini dress with a serious front thigh split. Swoon!
Natasha Poly
Introducing the golden girl. Well, one of them, but her form fitting dress did at first glance seem made of pure liquid gold. Our favourite bit? The raised contoured neckline and her fierce glittering make-up.

Lily Donaldson
Supermodel Lily Donaldson brought a softer touch to the Chinese Whispers theme with a lucky red silk dress with fitted bodice and layered tulle skirt. Perhaps one of our favourite selfies of the night came from Lily’s Instagram – an elevator crammed with everyone from Kendall Jenner and Cara, to Hailey Baldwin and Jourdan Dunn. We love!

Maryna Linchuk
The Victoria’s Secret model brought some serious Angel styling to her Topshop look in a silk tulle and pearl embellished gown with a plunging neckline and daring thigh high split. Dreamy or what?

See who we dressed for the 2016 Met Gala…
