Perhaps no one fits the term “fashion royalty” better than Diana, Princess of Wales – in the two decades since her death, her wardrobe has continued to be emulated and adored around the world. And her image as a fashion icon endures, as this year Kensington Palace charts her style evolution in a major new dress exhibition, Diana: Her Fashion Story, opening tomorrow. The collection acts as a celebration of Diana’s life and a moving tribute to her time in the spotlight – featuring everything from her demure, romantic outfits and glamorous gowns, to her iconic  skirt suits and often (in her own words) “daring” nineties dresses. We believe there’s a lesson to be learned from her legacy, so here’s some of our favourite Diana looks to get you started…
