Emma Elwick-Bates is a London-based style and fashion editor. She graduated from Central Saint Martins in 2002 with an MA in Fashion Journalism. She joined British Vogue in 2005 as Fashion Features Assistant and also held the position of Market Editor. In 2013 Emma was named Vogue's Style Editor. She has previously worked at Dazed & Confused and the BBC in their factual entertainment department, as well as contributing to The Guardian and BBC News. Emma also sits on the British Fashion Council's Newgen panel. In this issue, she profiles recent recipient - and major talent - shoe designer, Sophia Webster.
