It was time for heat rave at Topshop Unique SS14. Head of Design Emma Farrow and Creative Director Kate Phelan looked to the heady and humid days on the beaches and clubs of Ibiza for a collection that was all hot-hot-hot. Tile, star and striped prints took pride of place on lounge pants and summer dresses with a vivid colour palette of emerald green, midnight blue and saffron.
From teaming up with Facebook to partnering with Google, there’s always been a focus on digital in all our London Fashion Week projects. Topshop loves supporting young talent and last season we championed the innovative new Chirp App. Using pioneering sound technology, Chirp send exclusive content as the looks came down the runway, which you could receive direct from Topshop.com or at our Oxford Circus store’s Digital Garden. Keep your eyes peeled to see what's in store for AW14.
For yet another season we’re supporting new, emerging talent at the Topshop Showspace and beyond. Alongside burgeoning designer Marios Schwab and Meadham Kirchhoff, we’re also behind the fashion talent scheme NEWGEN, which this year supported nine young designers we’re very excited about. That’s not to forget the fun-tastic trio of designers at Lulu Kennedy’s Fashion East who graced the Topshop catwalk with their wild designs.
