With the last day of London Fashion Week in full swing, we’re starting to round up the trends that have emerged on the streets throughout the week. Why? Because you can try all of them right now! From thigh-high boots to the season’s favourite colours, here are the five key trends we’ve spotted…
1. Colourful thigh-high boots
Bold thigh-high boots have been the ultimate go-to for the street style stars – paired with monochrome outfits to make them really stand out. Note: the top of the boot should always be hidden beneath the hem of your skirt.
Last season’s favourite colour yellow was swapped out for shades of blue to contrast white and black pieces and lots of leather.
Whether it was on the runway (House of Holland, Supriya Lele, Fyodor Golan) or the streets, bumbags have turned out to be the biggest trend this London Fashion Week.
4. Rainbow prints
Rainbow prints were a definite street style favourite, taking cue from the ever-changing London weather. We spotted multi-coloured bags, dresses, jumpers, cardigans and even flip-flops – there are no rules with this trend.
5. Fluorescent pink
The pink of this season is amped-up, fluorescent and a guaranteed photographer magnet. Wear it paired with a softer shade, or against black and grey this winter.
