Fashion probably isn’t what you think of when you hear “drawstring” right? This season, the designers are making the practical detail cool with drawstrings on hats at Shrimps and all over a bold rain mac/dress hybrid at Fyodor Golan.
2. Lime Green
Leave navy, black and grey for another season – retina-searing lime-green is set to be the building block of your spring wardrobe. At Shrimps, designer Hannah Weiland enlivened white summer dresses with lime-green tights, bags and furry slippers, while Richard Malone used the eye-catching hue to emphasise the contemporary feel of his sculptural silhouettes.
3. Bold bows
Feminine silhouettes and colours had a contemporary edge with clever cut-outs held together by black bows at both Eudon Choi and Fyodor Golan. The bows are the key detail, with the longer strings dangling down the back or the sides of the garment.
