Minimalist? Ikoyi – a restaurant inspired by West African ingredients – has created an unusual Christmas menu that features artfully presented dishes like ‘scallop, palm wine & mandarin’ or ‘black garlic plantain & smoked brassica’. This is the place to suggest if you really want to impress.

This is one for your Instagram feed: Mexican restaurant Ella Canta’s Christmas menu is titled ‘Into the gold’ and stars a desert of golden Cacao churros with eggnog ice cream. The seven-course tasting menu dipped in gold also includes a special cocktail and is available until 23rd December.

Sushi lovers listen up – festive raw fish is now a thing! Mayfair’s luxury dining spot Sexy Fish has created a fish-based Christmas menu called ‘Sexy Fishmas’. It includes scallop carpaccio, king fish tataki with truffles and yuzu stollen.
