The film’s Brazilian heartthrob Karl now sports a pretty impressive beard and is a star of the HBO hit show Westworld. Just after wrapping Love Actually he was cast in Lost, the popular 2006 movie 300 and is now known as one of Brazil’s most famous actors.

Lúcia was already a famous singer in Portugal when the film was released: (fun fact) she represented the country in the 1996 Eurovision Song Contest and came sixth. Today she works as a singer and actress in her home country, has a daughter and a pretty artsy black and white Instagram account…

One of the characters that don’t exactly get their happy end is Mark, played by Andrew Lincoln. In real life Andrew has been a lot luckier since – he is the lead actor of the hugely popular TV series The Walking Dead, got married in 2006 and has two children.

Her characters might not be the most likeable in the movie, but the gorgeous German is still one of the most popular actresses in her home country today. She also dated current James Bond Daniel Craig for seven years until 2004, is now married to with three kids and has been a testimonial for cosmetics brand L’Oréal since 2012.
