Nuit Blanche is an annual all-night arts festival that gives you the opportunity to visit museums, art galleries and other cultural institutions for free. The tradition began in France, but has expanded to lots of other countries since.

Diwali, also known as the Festival of Lights, is an important religious festival originating in India. You’ve probably seen images of thousands of beautiful bursting firecrackers, lighting diyas or lamps lighting up the sky. If you can’t attend the festival in India, you might want to check out the largest Diwali celebrations outside of India in Leicester. Every year tens of thousands of people gather in the streets to enjoy vibrant shows of light, music and dancing.
