5 Street Style Looks From NYFW We Can’t Wait To Recreate

NYFW is in full swing right now, bombarding our Instagram feeds with the latest runway trends, front row gossip and after party snaps. Not sure what to take away from all the glitz and the glam? We’ve cut through the noise to pick some of our favourite street style looks so far and show you how you can actually recreate them yourself right now

1. New colour-blocking

Have you ever worn orange and blue together? Neither have we, but the streets of NYFW are giving us some serious reason to try it for ourselves. The key is to go for a full orange look, and then coordinating all your accessories (including your nail polish) in the same shade of blue.

2. Vinyl collection

This season, look to colours other than just the classic black when it comes to vinyl. A pair of high-shine brown PU trousers will look elevated styled with rich mustard and green shades, as inspired by this stylish lady heading to the NYFW shows.

3. Less is more

You don’t always have to go all out to make an impression (and attract all the street style photographers) – sometimes a pair of jeans, white trainers and a blouse will do. Look to new washes, fresh shapes and structured pieces to make less really seem like a lot more.

4. Reimagined silhouettes

Channel this NYFW street style look and go full on A-line this season. We’re obsessed with the combination of printed wide-leg trousers with a belted midi trench coat worn on top. Then, add some more casual styling pieces like Converse, a box bag and blackout shades.

5. Jeans and a really nice top

What could be cooler than wearing a hyper-feminine top with a pair of baggy mom jeans? Pretty much nothing, if we go by what’s been happening on the streets of New York this week. Go for a red blouse and super light-washed denim and complete the look with some trending accessories.
