These days, it feels like we’re just changing from sportswear into loungewear and back again. But – when styled just the right way, these pieces are way more versatile than you might think. To get the look right for every isolation occasion without having to put in a lot of effort, just have fun with accessories like socks and bags to spice up your leisure looks. Here’s how we’d do it…
1. Rainbows & stripes
If you love co-ords, matching leggings and sports bra sets probably are your workout staple. Tie a sweater around your waist and add another pop of colour with a pair of rainbow socks to complete your athleisure look. Round it off with some chunky trainers.
2. Pretty pastels
Lounging or working out in your favourite comfy joggers and seamless bra? If you’re going outside, keep the pastel theme on top to feel put together and just add a light pink cropped sweatshirt and matching mini cross-body bag for a cohesive look.
3. Logo love
Bike shorts are already super trendy, but you can channel your inner Lady Di by styling them with an oversized sweatshirt, long socks, chunky trainers and a tote bag. Logos and slogans will make this look feel fresh and exciting.
4. Short & sweet
These shorts are cute, comfy and perfect to work out in and you can never go wrong with a ribbed white tank on top. Simply throw over an oversized jumper for lounging and add fun socks and sneakers if you’re going for a walk or heading to the shops.
5. Grey on grey
This grey flared pants and wrapped sports bra set from HIIT isn’t just perfect for yoga, but also a great base for a matchy-matchy look. Add a cropped grey tee, white trainers and a weaved tote bag for running errands and no one will know you didn’t actually get changed after stretching.
