With yet another bank holiday coming up this weekend, we’re so excited to make the most of our time at home and wear some seriously cool outfits. To help you get ready for whatever you’ve got planned, we put together five different outfits that will make them feel even more exciting. From dressing up on Friday night to the chill day on Monday, discover the pieces you need for this weekend and beyond…
1. Dressing up
Dressing up for no reason has become the new normal and we’re totally here for it. Don’t be afraid to go all out this weekend in a dress and heels ensemble – you’ll definitely feel a boost in mood and getting ready is usually the most fun part of a night out anyways. Plus, you can keep this dress saved for the big post-lockdown night out you have planned.
2. Chilling all day
Typically, bank holiday Monday is spent relaxing and you’re probably a certified pro at this by now. But if there’s ever been a time to buy more loungewear, we’d say this is it. We said it before but a matching loungewear set is guaranteed to make you feel more put together and some comfy shoes that can be worn inside and outside are always a winner in our eyes.
3. Afternoon walk
Of course, an afternoon walk is sure to make its way into your bank holiday plans somehow. And these days, we’re making more of an effort for them. Channel our new favourite trend with a head-to-toe neutral look, complete with a straw bag and some sunglasses to give it those extra holiday vibes.
4. Sunday brunch
Go for something that feels a bit more special for your Sunday brunch than just your go-to avocado toast this weekend. And to go alongside that, a standout outfit that’ll make you feel like you’re at a trendy café. Style a statement top with some denim shorts in ode to the great weather, fun sandals and a pearl headband for added glam.
5. Tanning in the garden
Beer gardens and summer evenings spent on Primrose Hill have been replaced by plenty of time spent in our own gardens. For the perfect stay-at-home look, pick a bright bikini and an airy cover-up. Then, add some easy slides, a sunhat and get yourself into vacation mode.
